Purpose of Urban Sports Zone The identified purpose of the Urban Sports Zone is to provide organized athletics for various youth. The demographic we are servicing consist primarily of youth living at and or below the poverty line.

Empowering and Uplifting Urban Youth through Sports, Character Education, and Social Development.

Mission Statement 

The Urban Sports Zone exists to provide a safe, affordable, sports-oriented, developmentally appropriate environment for urban youth. The Urban Sports Zone will remain tightly focused on delivering the following; mentoring, athletic instruction, enhanced core values and positive social development to all community youth.  The Urban Sports Zone will promote quality sportsmanship, innovative programming, and life skills with a continued focus on academic excellence and achievement.

USZ Projected Achievements 

The Urban Sports Zone addresses "all" components of youth development,while remaining focused on a holistic approach in terms of it's programming. Urban's belief system encompasses constructing a solid foundation,resulting in the proper growth and development of our youth. We afford our youth with opportunities for extensive exposure and experience,existing beyond the limits of their surrounding environment. The Urban Sports Zone core belief's are;
